Small world and the Farmers Market

So  on Sunday, I was at the Mercer Island Farmers Market, on a slightly rainy day. I had two berry vendors to choose from — Hayton was one option, I like their stuff

but I chose some from Skagit Sun and my neighbor Heather

Nice berries

and I bought a bunch

But here’s where it gets interesting — Late in the day, a woman comes up and says “I know you” and in fact, she met me at my day job in the alcohol/drug treatment business. Her former boss was my former intern who was married by my daughter the rabbi

and to close the circle, is the sister of Heather the Berry vendor!

This was a fun event.
