Apriums? What’s an Aprium?

At this time of the week, I start thinking about what I’m going to cook next week. I’m pretty stocked up on strawberries and cherry jam, no raspberries but the early expensive kind yet. So I saw ‘apriums’ at Tiny’s Organic last weekend. They were described as a cross between a plum and an apricot. An extensive web seach did not reveal a single recipe for Aprium Jam, so I’m going to try them next Monday and be the first. There was a reference to Martha Stewart making it on her TV show, and if she can do it so can I.

A report on the Aprium project will have to wait until next Monday when its complete.

  1. Ooh, Aprium Jam can be wonderful! We included a really basic recipe for it in our ‘Fresh From the Farm’ CSA newsletter this week: http://tinysorganic.com/documents/2CSANEWSLETTER6-21-10PDF.pdf

All your jams so far sound quite delicious and inventive, I look forward to reading about your adventure with Aprium Jam next Monday!
